Two Moms, One Vision..
Type 1 Life was founded by two moms of children who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Our moms, Lisa and Terry, saw a need in the T1D community for greater support for the entire family unit after diagnosis. This includes not only the parents but also siblings and other non-traditional caregivers such as friends, babysitters, teachers, etc. By helping the entire family reach stability quicker the child with Type 1 is able to maintain compliance and achieve greater success in their journey to self-management while reducing the risk of complications.
Our vision is to provide families with education and support to ensure great stability and compliance.
